Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role at Wrike is listed as "Anywhere in the World" but carries important caveats for digital nomads. Wrike operates a hybrid model — employees near hubs in Prague, Nicosia, Rennes, or Tallinn are expected in-office 1–3 days per week. If you're fully nomadic with no fixed base near these cities, clarify expectations with the recruiter before applying.

On-call duties are a firm requirement for this CloudOps/Network Engineer role. On-call rotations typically require you to be available within a short response window (often 15–30 minutes), which significantly restricts timezone freedom. Being in a compatible European or Middle Eastern timezone is strongly advisable.

For those who can anchor themselves near one of the hub cities while traveling the rest of the time, Wrike's distributed culture and Scrum-based async planning (biweekly and quarterly) offers decent flexibility between on-call windows.

  • Lisbon, Portugal: Excellent timezone fit (WET/WEST), vibrant tech scene, D7 or Digital Nomad visa available — though no Wrike hub here means fully remote status needed.
  • Tallinn, Estonia: A Wrike hub city — hybrid work possible, Digital Nomad visa available, moderate cost of living (~€2,000–€2,500/month for a comfortable lifestyle).
  • Prague, Czechia: Another Wrike hub, good cost of living (~€1,800–€2,200/month), no EU Digital Nomad visa but EU work authorization applies for EU citizens.

No explicit equipment stipend or coworking allowance is mentioned. The SIM card with unlimited internet is a modest travel perk.
