Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-Friendly, But With Caveats

This role is advertised as remote, but location matters significantly. Candidates must be based in Spain, Poland, or the United Kingdom. Poland-based employees in Warsaw must work in-office 50% of the time monthly, while those in Kraków or Rzeszów must come in at least one day per week. This makes the role a hybrid in practice for Poland, and more genuinely remote for Spain and UK candidates.

Timezone & Schedule Flexibility

The role involves handling inbound requests via phone and email, which typically implies scheduled shifts aligned to client/business hours — likely CET/GMT. Async-friendly it is not; expect structured working hours serving executive-level travelers who need real-time support.

Nomad Viability

  • True location flexibility is limited — you must be a legal resident of one of the three listed countries.
  • The Spain salary (€28,000–€32,000/year) goes far in cities like Valencia or Málaga (popular nomad hubs), where monthly costs can be €1,200–€1,800 for a comfortable lifestyle.
  • Poland's 95,000–102,500 PLN (~€22,000–€24,000) is solid for Warsaw or Kraków cost of living, though office requirements apply.

Travel Perks

As a BCD Travel employee, you gain access to travel industry professional perks and discounts — a genuine lifestyle bonus for travel-minded professionals. No coworking stipend or equipment allowance is explicitly mentioned.
