Summary of Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Valet Driver, you will be responsible for handling all arrivals and departing vehicles at the Hotel Valet, Casino Valet, Carpark Valet, MICE, and Hall Parking. Additionally, you are required to perform static duties at the curb to direct traffic, assist in opening vehicle doors, and assist with luggage for arrivals at the Hotel driveway. You are expected to deliver the required service standard based on Forbes service standards consistently.
You must perform and support the Valet operations under the supervision of Valet Captains and Managers to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and based on the standards set by the department. You should also work in close collaboration with other Valet Drivers, traffic marshals, and the bellman on duty at the driveway to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience for all guests.
Job Responsibilities- Handle valet vehicles within the property of Marina Bay Sands in line with departmental standards.
- Operate the Valet Management System according to departmental guidelines.
- Assist in managing traffic around the property of Marina Bay Sands, ensuring the safety of guests and vehicles.
- Provide a level of service and experience according to departmental audit standards and work as a team to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Direct incoming vehicles to designated lanes and into specific areas of self-park whenever required.
- Restrict incoming vehicles and manage the taxi queue when required to ease congestion within the property.
- Manage Hall Parking in the event of self-park overflow.
- Provide information on valet and self-park matters as well as all other guest queries.
- Understand and execute departmental game plans.
- Maintain operational equipment in working order and ensure supplies are sufficient to perform duties.
- Monitor and report any anomalies to Valet Captains for immediate action.
- Learn and support the team with any other operational and/or departmental duties when required.
- Assist with any other assignments tasked by Valet Captains.
Education & Certification
- No formal education required.
Experience
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Other Prerequisites
- Good interpersonal and English communication skills; proactive and positive attitude.
- Able to work within a culturally diverse team.
- Able to deploy in environments as required to perform job responsibilities.
- Able to perform manual handling duties, including lifting and moving guests' luggage.
- Able to perform shift duties including night shifts, and work on weekends and Public Holidays.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods as required by operational needs.
- Able to safely operate vehicles and identify traffic signs, signals, and parking indicators required for the role.
- Possess basic knowledge of Singapore attractions and places of interest.
