Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is not suitable for digital nomads or remote workers. It is a fully field-based, on-site position requiring daily travel across a fixed geographic territory — the Oxford and Milton Keynes area of England. The work involves physically testing electrical appliances at client premises, which cannot be performed remotely.

Key location constraints include:

  • You must be physically present in the Oxford / Milton Keynes corridor, Monday to Friday
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory — no exceptions
  • Working hours are fixed: 9-hour days within a 45-hour working week
  • The role is tied to a specific UK region; relocation or frequent travel from abroad is not viable

For travelers and nomads, this role simply doesn't fit the location-independent lifestyle. Instead, look for roles in electrical compliance management, remote auditing, or compliance software support, which may offer hybrid or fully remote arrangements. If you are based in the UK and looking for field work with good equipment and vehicle support rather than remote flexibility, this role offers solid practical perks.
