Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is tagged #LI-Remote and is open across the United States — but there are important constraints for nomadic workers to consider before applying.

  • US work authorization required: Figure explicitly will not sponsor work visas, meaning you must already be authorized to work in the US. This rules out most international digital nomad arrangements.
  • 15% travel requirement: Partners events, QBRs, and industry touchpoints require periodic in-person travel — roughly one week every two months. You'll need flexibility and proximity to US travel hubs.
  • Timezone: No fixed timezone is stated, but partners are in mortgage, banking, and fintech — industries operating on standard US business hours. Expect to be available during ET/CT/PT overlap windows, which limits pure async work across distant timezones.

At a base of $96,400–$144,600 (plus 30% variable), total on-target earnings can reach ~$125K–$188K. That income stretches well in US-based nomad-friendly cities like Austin, TX or Boise, ID, and would cover a comfortable lifestyle in Lisbon (~$2,500/mo) or Medellín (~$1,800/mo) — but you'd still need a US base address for legal compliance.

Bottom line: This is a remote-US role, not a true location-independent position. It suits US-based nomads who maintain a US address, can manage sporadic domestic travel, and work within standard American business hours.
