Remote SDR Role at Doximity - US Healthcare Sales — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This SDR role is listed as remote within the U.S., which restricts location flexibility to domestic positions only. International digital nomads or travelers based outside the United States are not eligible — the posting explicitly states "remote U.S. location" as the only remote option.
For U.S.-based nomads, this role has meaningful potential. However, there are important caveats:
- Timezone constraints: SDR roles typically require live phone prospecting during business hours. Expect to be active during standard U.S. business hours (likely Central or Eastern time), making asynchronous work largely incompatible with this position.
- Quota-driven structure: Monthly quotas and activity metrics mean you'll need a reliable, distraction-free workspace and a stable internet connection daily — coworking spaces in U.S. cities would be ideal.
- Salary context: At $85,000–$95,000/year, a U.S.-based nomad could stretch this salary significantly by choosing lower cost-of-living cities like Austin, Tucson, or Asheville as home bases, while keeping full benefits.
There are no mentions of equipment stipends, coworking allowances, or travel perks. If you're a digital nomad hoping to work internationally, this role is not suitable. Look instead for roles with explicit "work from anywhere" or "timezone-flexible" language.
