Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is tagged #LI-REMOTE, meaning it is fully remote — a strong signal for location flexibility. However, the job explicitly requires engaging with Middle East and North Africa (ME & NA) airline partners, and the location hint points to the UAE. In practice, expect a significant overlap requirement with Gulf Standard Time (GST, UTC+4) and possibly CET for internal Hopper teams.

For digital nomads, this means you'll want to base yourself within roughly UTC+2 to UTC+6 to stay functional for partner calls without burning out on odd hours. Popular nomad hubs that fit this window include:

  • Dubai/Abu Dhabi (UAE): UTC+4 — perfect alignment; tax-free income; higher cost of living (~$2,500–$4,000/month).
  • Tbilisi, Georgia: UTC+4 — low cost (~$1,200–$1,800/month), easy remote worker visas, growing nomad scene.
  • Lisbon, Portugal: UTC+1 — manageable overlap, nomad visa available (~$2,000–$2,800/month).

The FlexDesk coworking access and work-from-home stipend are genuine nomad-friendly perks. The Carrot Cash travel stipend and Housing & Transportation Benefit further reduce costs on the road. The Arabic language requirement narrows the candidate pool significantly, but for qualifying candidates it also reduces direct competition. Unlimited PTO is excellent for blending travel with work.

About the Job

As an Account Lead within the Fintech Team at HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions), you will be responsible for driving the success of our fintech solutions with airline partners. You will work closely with airlines to launch new products, optimize and grow existing solutions, and develop new opportunities that drive both business growth and enhance the traveler experience.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, design, marketing, and customer success) to deliver seamless product experiences.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with trends in the fintech and travel industries to anticipate market shifts and identify new opportunities for innovation.

Ideal Candidate Has

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels — able to build trust with partners and internal teams through clarity, consistency, and professionalism.

  • Proven ability to manage and grow strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Creativity and strategic thinking to identify new opportunities in the fintech and travel spaces.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with airline operations, challenges, and revenue streams, or previous experience working within the airline industry is a strong plus.

  • Housing & Transportation Benefit.
