Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-First with CET Timezone Flexibility: This role is fully remote and structured around an independent contractor agreement — one of the most nomad-friendly employment setups available. You have the freedom to work from anywhere, provided you stay within ±4 hours of Central European Time (UTC+1). That covers an enormous swath of nomad-friendly destinations.

Where can you base yourself?

  • Lisbon, Portugal (UTC+0/+1): Perfectly within the CET window. Monthly living costs for a comfortable lifestyle run ~€1,800–2,500. Portugal also offers a Digital Nomad Visa (D8) for long stays.
  • Tbilisi, Georgia (UTC+4): On the outer edge of the ±4h window (CET+3). Very affordable (~$1,000–1,500/month), and Georgia offers a 1-year "Remotely from Georgia" program with no visa fees.
  • Nairobi, Kenya (UTC+3): Within range (CET+2). Growing coworking scene, costs ~$1,200–1,800/month. Kenya offers e-visas and a newly introduced Digital Nomad Visa.

Perks for nomads: A company-provided MacBook removes the equipment burden, and the contractor agreement offers tax flexibility depending on your country of residence. Unlimited PTO also pairs well with travel-intensive lifestyles — take extended trips between campaign cycles.

No mention of coworking stipends or travel meetup budgets, so factor that cost into your setup budget.
