Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is listed as a remote setup based out of Barcelona/Spain and targeting the German-speaking market, which creates an interesting situation for location-independent workers. The core work — phone outreach, demos, CRM updates — is largely digital, but there are some important constraints to consider.

  • Timezone: Since you're selling to German-speaking hotel owners, you'll need to be available during Central European business hours (CET/CEST, UTC+1/+2). This limits nomad-friendly destinations to European or nearby timezones. Lisbon (same timezone), Tbilisi (UTC+4, possible with early starts), or the Canary Islands (UTC+0/+1) are realistic options.
  • Occasional travel: The role explicitly requires travel to client locations for meetings, so expect periodic trips to DACH-region countries. This is worth factoring into your travel plans.
  • Visa considerations: As the role is tied to Germany and Spain, EU/EEA citizens have the easiest path. Non-EU nomads may find Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (introduced 2023) a useful option if physically based there.
  • Cost of living: No salary is published, but uncapped commission in SaaS can be substantial. Barcelona itself is moderate-cost for Europe. If fully remote, Lisbon or Porto offer a comparable lifestyle at slightly lower cost.
  • Perks relevant to nomads: Remote setup and well-being initiatives are positives, though no explicit coworking or equipment stipend is mentioned.

Best suited for nomads already based in or around Europe who can maintain CET business hours reliably.
