Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is highly nomad-friendly. It is fully remote and open to candidates globally, with no mandatory fixed office hours — just a preference for some overlap with Eastern Time (ET, UTC-5/UTC-4). This means nomads based in Europe, Southeast Asia, or Latin America can typically accommodate a few hours of overlap without restructuring their entire day.

Schedule flexibility breakdown:

  • Lisbon (WET/WEST, UTC+0/+1): ET overlap from ~2pm–6pm local — very manageable; Portugal's digital nomad visa (D8) is a solid option for non-EU citizens.
  • Bangkok (ICT, UTC+7): ET overlap falls late evening, which requires some scheduling discipline — best suited if you prefer async-heavy work and minimal live meetings. Thailand's LTR visa or tourist visa chains work well.
  • Medellín (COT, UTC-5): Perfectly aligned with ET — ideal time zone match. Colombia's digital nomad visa is available for stays over 90 days.

The role is execution-focused with clearly defined output expectations (CAD renderings, mockups), making it naturally async-compatible — much of the work is independent production rather than live collaboration. No coworking allowance or equipment stipend is explicitly mentioned, so budget for your own setup. The skills assessment step in hiring can be done remotely.

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing consumer accessories brand operating in the mobile and lifestyle product space. They design and produce items such as phone cases, wearable accessories, and branded packaging, working closely with retail buyers and manufacturing partners. The company operates with a lean, founder-led team and emphasizes speed, quality, and execution in bringing products to market.

Role Overview

This role exists to support a growing product pipeline by owning the execution of product CAD renderings and packaging visuals. You will work closely with a founder and senior designer, translating product ideas, references, and notes into polished, production-ready assets.

The work is highly execution-focused, requiring speed, precision, and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction. You will play a critical role in ensuring that product concepts are quickly turned into visuals that can be used for buyer presentations and factory production.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment where strong design instincts and efficiency are essential. Candidates who thrive are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a lean team with high ownership.

Your Impact

You will directly accelerate the company's ability to bring products to market by producing high-quality CAD visuals quickly and consistently. Your work will help reduce turnaround time from concept to buyer presentation, improve clarity in factory communication, and minimize production errors. You will also enable the senior designer to focus on higher-value creative direction by taking full ownership of executional design work.

Over time, you will contribute to the brand's growth by identifying design opportunities and supporting the development of new product concepts aligned with market trends.
