Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote Flexibility: This role is fully remote with a "Any Location / Remote" work designation, making it theoretically location-independent within the United States. However, the allowed_countries restriction is US-only, which significantly limits nomadic freedom. You must maintain a US address and be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Timezone & Schedule: The posting does not specify a required timezone, and the "full flex work week" benefit suggests some schedule flexibility. However, the role requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and presentations to leadership, implying you'll need to be available during standard US business hours — likely Eastern or Central time, given the CMS (Baltimore-based agency) client relationship.

Nomad Practicality: With a salary range of $153,000–$207,000, purchasing power in popular nomad hubs would be substantial if you could work from abroad — but this is a US-only role. For US-based nomads traveling domestically, this is ideal:

  • Austin, TX: Cost of living well below the salary ceiling; strong tech community.
  • Asheville, NC: Lower COL, popular with remote workers, East Coast timezone alignment.
  • Boise, ID: Affordable, growing remote-work hub in Mountain time.

Travel Requirement: Less than 10% travel required — roughly 4–5 days per year — making this a very low-disruption role for those who prefer stability. No travel stipend or coworking allowance is mentioned explicitly.
