Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant - Remote Worldwide — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is listed as open to candidates anywhere in the world, making it one of the more nomad-friendly positions in the Microsoft ecosystem. The company is headquartered in Argentina (ART, UTC-3), so expect some overlap with South American business hours — though the posting does not explicitly mandate fixed hours or a specific timezone.
Timezone flexibility: As a consulting role, some client-facing synchronous communication is likely required, but architectural and documentation work is inherently async-friendly. Candidates in Europe (UTC+1 to UTC+2) and parts of Asia may need to accommodate occasional early or late calls to align with Argentina-based teams or LATAM clients.
Visa considerations: Since no country restrictions are stated, digital nomad visas are a strong fit:
- Portugal (D8 visa) — popular, straightforward for remote tech workers, access to EU timezone overlap with LATAM.
- Colombia (digital nomad visa) — same timezone as Argentina (ART ≈ COT), ideal for minimal scheduling friction.
- Thailand (LTR visa) — lower cost of living, though a 9–12 hour timezone gap may complicate client calls.
Cost of living vs. typical D365 consultant salaries (estimated $60k–$100k USD/year for this seniority): Lisbon, Medellín, and Chiang Mai all offer comfortable living well under $2,500/month, leaving significant savings potential. No equipment stipend or coworking allowance is mentioned in the posting.
