Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-First with APAC Timezone Anchoring

Cloudbeds operates as a fully remote, globally distributed company — a genuine green flag for location-independent workers. However, this Campaign Manager role is explicitly focused on APAC markets (Australia, NZ, Thailand, Southeast Asia), meaning you'll need to maintain working hours that overlap with APAC business hours, roughly UTC+7 to UTC+12. This effectively anchors you to the Asia-Pacific timezone band for most of your calls and stakeholder meetings.

Visa Considerations

Cloudbeds does not sponsor work visas, so you must already have the right to work in your country of residence. This is a critical constraint for nomads: you can't use this job as a pathway to a new country. However, if you're already legally resident in an APAC country, several destinations offer digital nomad or long-stay options:

  • Thailand: The LTR (Long-Term Resident) visa or the SMART Visa suit remote tech workers with provable income.
  • Australia/NZ: Standard working rights required — no dedicated nomad visa exists, but this role suits those already holding permanent residency or citizenship.
  • Indonesia (Bali): The Second Home Visa is available for longer stays if you're not required to be based in a specific country.

Perks for Nomads

The home office stipend is a practical benefit for setting up a productive workspace. No explicit coworking or travel budget is mentioned, but event management responsibilities mean some travel to regional tradeshows is likely built in.

How You'll Make an Impact

We're looking for a Campaign Manager to own regional marketing strategy and execution across APAC, turning business priorities and local market opportunities into multi-channel programs that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline, and audience growth.

You'll focus on priority markets including Australia, NZ, and Thailand, bringing global marketing initiatives to life through locally relevant campaigns, events, webinars, content, and partnerships. You'll also identify opportunities to expand Cloudbeds' reach across Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region, adapting programs to different audiences, market conditions, and business priorities.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Campaign Management, you'll partner with Sales, PMM, Content, Events, Partnerships, Demand Gen, and Marketing Operations to deliver measurable programs that support regional growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own regional marketing strategy and execution for APAC, prioritizing programs and investment across key markets to support business goals and regional Sales priorities.
  • Lead local and regional events from planning through execution, including objectives, audiences, budgets, promotion, registration, Sales coordination, onsite execution, follow-up, and measurement.
  • Regionalize and amplify global campaigns, adapting product update webinars, content campaigns, research reports, and product-led initiatives to APAC audiences through the right messaging, channels, timing, and follow-up.
  • Develop market-specific growth programs that build Cloudbeds' awareness and engage local hospitality communities through relevant channels, industry associations, partnerships, and ambassador programs.
  • Contribute to the strategy and planning of global and marquee tradeshows across APAC, defining regional objectives, target audiences, activation, Sales alignment, and follow-up in partnership with the Events team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver connected programs, measure performance, and use insights to inform future marketing priorities and investment.

What Success Looks Like

You're a proactive regional marketer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You understand that APAC isn't one market and know how to balance global consistency with local relevance, prioritize opportunities across countries, and translate business goals into effective marketing programs. You work closely with Sales without becoming purely reactive, manage multiple programs across time zones, and use performance insights to continuously improve results.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience in field marketing, integrated marketing, regional marketing, campaign marketing, or a similar B2B marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience managing local and regional events, including budgets, promotion, logistics, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Experience developing marketing programs across multiple countries or markets, ideally within Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand.
  • Strong project management, communication, writing, and messaging skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and global marketing teams.
  • A performance mindset, with the ability to analyze results and optimize programs and investment.
  • Fluency with AI as a daily marketing planning and execution tool, using it to improve quality and scale output without replacing strategic thinking.
  • Comfort working in a remote, global environment with distributed teams and stakeholders across time zones.

Bonus Skills to Stand Out

  • Near-native English fluency (C1 or C2) is required; fluency in Thai is a bonus.
  • Experience in hospitality, travel technology, hotel technology, SaaS, or B2B software.
  • Experience marketing to hoteliers across Australia, Thailand, Southeast Asia, or other APAC markets.
  • Familiarity with regional hospitality communities, industry associations, events, and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience with partner marketing, ambassador programs, or regional webinars.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar marketing automation and CRM systems.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the location where the position is located without requiring visa sponsorship. At this time, Cloudbeds is unable to provide sponsorship for work visas.
