Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote Eligibility: Veracyte explicitly lists this role as potentially remote for the right candidate, tagged #LI-Remote. However, it is US-only remote — international digital nomads will not qualify, as the role requires US-based employment and E-Verify participation.

Travel Requirement: Even for remote workers, this role requires 15–25% travel for in-person training sessions and ride-alongs. That translates to roughly 8–13 weeks per year on the road, which limits true location independence and makes slow travel or long-term stays abroad impractical.

Schedule Flexibility: The role involves quarterly online training and cross-functional collaboration, suggesting a largely synchronous US business-hours schedule. Async-friendly it is not — real-time coordination with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams is central to the job.

Salary vs. Nomad Cost of Living: The remote salary band of $130,000–$148,000 USD is generous by US standards. For a US-based nomad traveling domestically between cities, this is highly livable. International nomad destinations are off the table due to the US-only work restriction.

  • Best fit: A US-based professional who works from home but is comfortable with regular domestic travel for training events.
  • Not suited for: International nomads, those seeking async-first roles, or anyone wanting to work from outside the United States.
