Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is listed as remote-friendly for US-based employees, with the notable exception that candidates residing in New York are not supported. That leaves a broad swath of the continental US as viable home bases — giving some location flexibility, though you must be US-authorized and US-based.

The monthly home working/digital lifestyle stipend is a genuine nomad-friendly perk — it can offset coworking memberships or travel-friendly connectivity costs. The new MacBook and accessory reimbursement further reduce your gear overhead.

Timezone constraints are significant: this is a partner sales role requiring US/UK partner travel (up to 25%), active co-selling with Sales, and cross-functional collaboration. Expect to be available during core US Eastern/Central business hours, making this incompatible with a free-roaming nomad lifestyle across vastly different time zones (e.g., Southeast Asia).

  • Lisbon, Portugal: A popular nomad hub, but the +5h to +6h offset from US Eastern would make daily calls very difficult for a client-facing role.
  • Medellín, Colombia: Only 1h behind US Eastern — workable for async tasks, but the 25% travel requirement and legal authorization constraint effectively rules this out.
  • Mexico City, Mexico: Central time overlap is strong, but again, the US work authorization requirement means this cannot be a base for a non-US resident.

Bottom line: this role suits a US-based remote worker who wants home-office flexibility with occasional travel, not a location-independent nomad without US ties.

About Us:

Spreedly is the world's leading Open Payments Platform. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Durham, NC, the company gives mid-market and enterprise businesses the infrastructure to connect to any payment gateway, processor, or fraud tool through a single API. The platform is vendor-agnostic by design, meaning customers are never locked into a single provider and never need to rebuild their payments stack to access new capabilities.

The core business problem Spreedly solves is real and costly: global merchants face a fragmented payments ecosystem, where every new market, payment method, or fraud tool typically requires a separate, time-consuming integration. Spreedly eliminates that complexity, enabling companies to route transactions intelligently, secure cardholder data, prevent fraud, and expand into new markets without heavy engineering overhead.

About the Role:

The Partner Growth Manager (PGM) is responsible for driving revenue growth through Spreedly's strategic partner ecosystem. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with Spreedly's premier and standard partners while identifying and executing opportunities to generate new business together.

The PGM works closely with Sales to co-sell into shared prospects and customers, expand existing partner relationships, and accelerate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.

Success in this role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to build trusted partner relationships, and a track record of turning partnerships into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own growth within a portfolio of strategic partners by identifying and executing opportunities to generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue

  • Define and manage key growth metrics; track, analyze, and report on partner performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, CS, and Sales to deliver growth campaigns and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor partner health and proactively manage performance risks or opportunity gaps
  • Lead internal coordination for partner launches, growth initiatives, and operational execution
  • Represent Spreedly at partner events and build visibility within their networks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in partner management, partner sales, business development, or strategic partnerships roles

Spreedly Product Offering:

Spreedly provides an open payments platform. Key products and services include:

  • Connect — A unified API that integrates with hundreds of payment gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods worldwide, including digital wallets. Merchants access the global payments ecosystem through one connection.
  • Vault — A PCI-compliant secure repository for payment methods. Merchants store card data once and reuse it across any payment service, reducing PCI scope and protecting cardholder data at scale.
  • Optimize — Workflow-driven routing and retry logic that directs each transaction to the best-performing gateway in real time. On average, 7.9% of failed transactions succeed immediately when retried on a secondary gateway.
  • Protect — A flexible fraud and authentication layer, incorporating advanced fraud tools and 3DS. Following Spreedly's acquisition of Dodgeball in September 2025, fraud orchestration and payment optimization now operate within the same platform.
  • Resolve — Centralized management and reporting that reduces operational silos, strengthens security, and improves billing control across a merchant's entire payment operation.
  • More Coming Soon! — Keep your eyes peeled for a new product launch by EOY '26.

Due to the sensitive nature of what Spreedly does — handling payment data — finalist candidates must complete a successful background and reference check.

At this time Spreedly is unable to provide sponsorship for employment, and we are not set up to support remote employees who reside in New York. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the job location country and not require future sponsorship in order to continue working in that country.
