Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-First with North American Timezone Alignment: StackAdapt explicitly positions itself as a Remote First company and accepts candidates anywhere in the US or Canada. However, the role partners closely with North American revenue teams, meaning your working hours will realistically need to overlap with ET/PT business hours — roughly 9am–6pm EST. This limits true timezone flexibility for nomads in Asia or Europe.

Best-fit nomad destinations within range: Given the North American timezone requirement, consider destinations with manageable time differences:

  • Medellín, Colombia (ET-1): A top nomad hub with costs of ~$1,500–2,200/month. At ~$85–100K USD equivalent annually, you'd live very comfortably.
  • Mexico City, Mexico (ET-1/CT): Excellent infrastructure, strong nomad community, ~$1,800–2,500/month. Timezone is near-perfect.
  • Lisbon, Portugal (GMT+1): Possible with early starts; costs ~$2,500–3,500/month. The ET overlap would require 2–3pm to 10–11pm local shifts, which is tough long-term.

Travel-friendly perks: The optional WeWork global membership is a standout benefit — nomads can use coworking spaces worldwide rather than booking day passes. Work-from-home reimbursements may also cover portable equipment. No explicit travel or home-office equipment stipend is mentioned beyond WFH reimbursements.

Visa considerations: US candidates can leverage Mexico's Temporary Resident Visa or Colombia's Digital Nomad Visa (up to 2 years). Canadian citizens have additional options including Portugal's D8 visa for longer stays in Europe.
