Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is tagged #LI-Remote and explicitly offers "work-from-home or remote opportunities," making it partially location-flexible — but with important caveats for nomads.

Key constraint: You must have full working rights in Australia, which immediately limits eligibility to Australian citizens, permanent residents, or holders of Australian work visas. This is not a globally open remote role — it is an Australia-based remote position.

Timezone considerations: Corporate travel consulting requires real-time client communication via phone, email, and live chat. Clients are corporate accounts, likely operating during AEST/AEDT business hours (UTC+10/+11). The role also requires flexibility on roster start/finish times, suggesting shift work may apply. This makes it difficult to work from significantly different timezones (e.g., Europe or the Americas).

  • Sydney-based hybrid: If you're in Sydney, the role is hybrid — best suited to someone with a home base there.
  • Remote within Australia: Outside Sydney, the role appears fully remote, opening it up to nomads traveling within Australian borders.

If you're an Australian citizen or PR who travels domestically or takes short international trips, this role could work with careful scheduling. However, extended stays in Bali, Thailand, or other APAC nomad hubs would be borderline due to client-hours requirements and Australian work-right restrictions.
