Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote Eligibility: This role is tagged #LI-Remote and based in Mexico, making it a remote-friendly position within the LATAM and North America regions. However, the operational nature of the role — coordinating across multiple time zones for both LATAM and North America — means you should expect to work hours that overlap with both North American (EST/CST) and Latin American business hours. True async flexibility is limited.

Timezone Reality: Expect a core working window of roughly 8 AM–6 PM CST/EST. Candidates based in Mexico, Central America, or the US/Canada East and Central zones will find scheduling easiest. South American nomads (e.g., Medellín, Buenos Aires) would overlap well; European-based nomads would face early-morning conflicts.

Visa Considerations for Mexico-Based Nomads:

  • Mexico: Mexico's Temporary Resident Visa allows stays of 1–4 years and is a solid base for this role. Many nomads also use tourist entry (180 days) initially.
  • Colombia (Medellín): Colombia's digital nomad visa (Migración Colombia "Nómada Digital") allows 2-year stays — cost of living is low vs. expected compensation for this senior role.
  • Argentina: No formal nomad visa, but tourist extensions work. Buenos Aires offers excellent infrastructure at moderate cost.

Lifestyle Fit: No travel perks or coworking allowances are mentioned. This is a team-leadership role requiring reliable internet, a professional home-office setup, and consistent availability — better suited to a stable base location than frequent travel.

At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
