Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is explicitly listed as fully remote within the US, which is a strong foundation for location flexibility — but with important caveats for digital nomads. The position is US-only based on the salary disclosure and "all US locations" language, which limits international remote work options without careful tax and legal planning.

Timezone considerations: As a Sr. Director managing a global Customer Success organization and serving as a cross-functional partner to Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering, you should expect regular synchronous meetings across US timezones (PT to ET). Fixed availability during core US business hours is likely required. This is not an async-friendly role by nature.

Visa & location options: Since the role requires US residency (USD salary, US pay transparency laws referenced), international nomadding while on payroll would be legally complex. Short trips to Mexico, Canada, or the EU are feasible during vacation, but working remotely abroad long-term would require employer approval and tax structuring.

Salary vs. nomad cost of living: The $203K–$290K base is exceptionally strong. For context:

  • Lisbon: Comfortable living at ~$3,000–$4,500/month — this salary provides enormous surplus.
  • Bangkok: Even more affordable at ~$2,000–$3,500/month, though US employment from Thailand raises compliance issues.
  • Medellín: ~$2,500–$3,500/month — same cross-border employment caveats apply.

Bottom line: ideal for US-based remote workers who want location flexibility within the country, less suited for international nomads.
