Traveler-Friendly Insight

Is this role nomad-friendly? Yes — this is a fully remote position with no office requirement, making it well-suited for location-independent professionals. However, because you'll work with a distributed team across EMEA and LATAM, expect some degree of timezone alignment. Customer calls with gym operators and daily stakeholder syncs likely require availability during European business hours (CET/CEST), so pure Asia-Pacific bases may create scheduling friction.

Timezone flexibility: The posting mentions comfort with cross-functional teams "distributed across time zones," suggesting some async tolerance. However, a customer-facing Senior PM role typically requires enough overlap with Europe for live calls. Aim for UTC-3 to UTC+3 as your operating window for maximum flexibility.

Best nomad bases for this role:

  • Lisbon, Portugal: UTC+0/+1, low cost of living (~€1,800/month comfortably), EU work-friendly, strong nomad infrastructure. Excellent fit.
  • Medellín, Colombia: UTC-5, challenging for European calls but manageable with early starts. Very affordable (~$1,200/month). LATAM coverage aligns well with Zartis's footprint.
  • Tallinn, Estonia: UTC+2/+3, inside the EU and EMEA zone. Estonia's Digital Nomad Visa is a strong option for non-EU citizens. ~€1,600/month.

Perks relevant to nomads: The WFH monthly allowance can offset coworking space costs. No equipment stipend is mentioned, so plan your own travel kit. The 360° career development program and training budget are fully remote-accessible.

The Company and Our Mission

Zartis is a global AI transformation and technology consulting partner where talented engineers and technologists work on cutting-edge innovation. We partner with ambitious organizations to design, build, and scale technology solutions that deliver real impact.

Our teams bring deep expertise in AI-driven platforms, secure API architectures, and cloud-native engineering. You will work on meaningful projects that accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies — from strategy and discovery through to full product delivery — helping turn complex challenges into measurable outcomes.

With engineering hubs across EMEA and LATAM, and long-term partnerships in financial services, healthcare and life sciences, and energy and climate, we offer opportunities to work on projects that truly matter. Here, you will not just build technology — you will drive business impact and grow your career alongside industry leaders.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to work on a project in the fitness industry.

The Project

You will be part of a distributed team working on a SaaS platform for the fitness industry, supporting gym owners, studio operators, and franchise networks with bookings, memberships, and day-to-day operations.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, demonstrable customer obsession, experience translating a high-level vision into a grounded, sequenced roadmap, and comfort making prioritisation calls in ambiguous environments.

What You Will Do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for your product area, balancing near-term delivery with long-term product vision.

  • Talk to customers daily — gym owners, studio operators, and front-desk staff — to deeply understand their problems and translate them into prioritised, well-scoped product work.

  • Partner with engineering, design, data, and QA to ship high-quality, well-instrumented product experiences in short, iterative cycles.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to define success metrics, evaluate shipped work, and continuously improve your product area.

  • Drive business cases for new capabilities, including pricing considerations, go-to-market fit, and commercial impact, in collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer success.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and evolving market needs to identify where the product can lead, follow, or differentiate.

  • Scope solutions to their smallest coherent state, ship early, gather real-world feedback, and iterate with urgency.

  • Align stakeholders across the business on roadmap priorities, delivery milestones, and product decisions, using clear, data-backed communication.

  • Support product marketing in developing positioning and messaging that resonates with gym operators.

  • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog and work closely with engineering leads to manage trade-offs between velocity, quality, and scope.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning and shipping complex product areas end-to-end.

  • Demonstrable customer obsession — you default to talking to users, not about them, and use research to sharpen your instincts rather than replace them.

  • Strong analytical mindset: comfortable defining metrics, querying data, and making prioritisation calls in ambiguous environments.

  • Experience translating a high-level vision into a grounded, sequenced roadmap with clear success criteria.

  • The ability to work fluidly across discovery and delivery, switching between strategic thinking and hands-on backlog management as the situation demands.

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills — able to write crisp product briefs, run effective reviews, and influence without authority across engineering, design, and the business.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments with cross-functional teams distributed across time zones.

  • A degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry, or prior experience selling into or building for SMB and enterprise operators.

  • Exposure to platform or multi-tenant SaaS products where configuration, access control, and white-labelling are first-class concerns.

  • Experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, Pendo) and a strong habit of defining and tracking outcome metrics.

  • A working understanding of agile ceremonies and how to keep a team focused and unblocked across a complex backlog.

  • Strong leadership presence — the ability to rally a team around a vision and maintain momentum through ambiguity.

What We Offer

  • 100% Remote Work

  • WFH Allowance: Monthly payment as financial support for remote working.

  • Career Growth: An established career development program accessible for all employees with 360° feedback to guide your career progression.

  • Training: Time allocated during the week for tech training, with access to online courses (e.g. Pluralsight, Educative.io), English classes, books, conferences, and events.

  • Mentoring Program: You can become a mentor at Zartis, receive mentorship, or both.

  • Zartis Wellbeing Hub (Kara Connect): A platform providing sessions with a range of specialists, including mental health professionals, nutritionists, physiotherapists, fitness coaches, and professional webinars.

  • Multicultural Working Environment: Tech events, webinars, parties, and online team-building games and contests.
