Senior PS Manager EMEA at Chainguard - Remote UK — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role carries a firm location requirement: you must be based in the United Kingdom. While the position is remote-first within Chainguard's distributed model, it is explicitly not open to candidates outside the UK — making it unsuitable for pure nomads without UK residency or the right to work there.
That said, for those who do qualify, the lifestyle perks are meaningful for location-flexible workers:
- Monthly coworking stipend covers shared workspace costs, ideal if you prefer not to work from a fixed office.
- Bi-annual destination summits provide built-in travel opportunities and team connection without daily commuting.
- Phone and internet cost reimbursement reduces the overhead of working from different locations within the UK.
The EMEA-facing nature of the role means you'll likely need availability during GMT/BST and CET business hours (roughly 8am–6pm UK time), which limits true async flexibility. Customer escalations and team leadership duties require consistent, predictable presence.
For nomads interested in similar roles: look for "EMEA PS Manager" or "remote cybersecurity leadership" postings that accept EU or EEA residency, as those markets offer more visa flexibility (e.g., Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa or Germany's Freelance Visa) than the UK post-Brexit framework.
