Remote Sr. Clinical Data Manager - LATAM (CRO) — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is tagged #LI-REMOTE, meaning it is fully remote — a strong signal for location-independent professionals. However, there is a critical constraint: candidates must be legally authorized to work in one of the six listed LATAM countries (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, or Peru) without employer sponsorship. This means you cannot hold a tourist visa or digital nomad visa in a third country — you need actual work authorization in one of these specific nations.
That said, for nomads already residing in LATAM, this opens interesting doors. Mexico (Temporary Resident Visa), Colombia (Digital Nomad Visa), and Argentina (Rentista / freelance visas) all offer legal pathways for longer stays. If you hold citizenship or residency in any of these six countries, this role is well-suited for a nomadic lifestyle within the region.
Schedule flexibility: No specific timezone hours are stated, though working within LATAM time zones (UTC-3 to UTC-7) is implied by the coverage region. Cross-team communication likely happens during core Latin American business hours.
- Medellín, Colombia: Cost of living ~$1,200–1,800/month — very affordable for a senior clinical role salary.
- Mexico City, Mexico: ~$1,500–2,200/month — excellent infrastructure for remote work.
- Buenos Aires, Argentina: ~$1,000–1,500/month — favorable exchange rates make it even more attractive.
Note: occasional travel is required, so budget for regional trips within LATAM.
We're expanding across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru, and we're looking for an experienced Clinical Data Manager to help build the foundation of our growing LATAM Data Management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical data that drives successful clinical trials and accelerates innovative therapies to patients.
