Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is 100% remote and open to Latin America, making it appealing for digital nomads based in LATAM countries. However, there is a critical constraint every nomad must understand: you must align with Middle East working hours (Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, and Eastern European Time, UTC+2–3) to collaborate with teams in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. This means your workday will likely start in the early morning LATAM time (e.g., 5–7 AM in Buenos Aires or Bogotá), which significantly limits schedule flexibility.

Timezone impact on popular nomad hubs:

  • Medellín, Colombia (UTC-5): GST is 9 hours ahead — expect very early starts around 5–7 AM local time.
  • Mexico City (UTC-6): Even more challenging — a 10-hour gap means late-night or very early morning overlaps.
  • São Paulo, Brazil (UTC-3): GST is 7 hours ahead — more manageable, with a ~7–9 AM start window.

For compensation, Truelogic explicitly offers competitive USD pay, which in most LATAM cities translates to a strong purchasing-power advantage. A senior-level USD salary in Medellín or Buenos Aires stretches considerably further than in the US. No specific travel perks (coworking allowance, equipment stipend) are mentioned, so budget for those independently. The role requires only a laptop and reliable internet — coworking spaces in LATAM cities are plentiful and affordable.
