Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is listed as fully remote with no geographic restrictions — "Anywhere in the World" — making it one of the more nomad-friendly postings in the design space. The job description contains no mention of required core hours, specific timezone overlap windows, or mandatory synchronous meetings, which suggests a reasonably async-friendly culture, though cross-functional collaboration with product, dev, and CRM teams typically implies some overlap hours.

Visa considerations: Because no country restriction is stated, you have maximum flexibility. Popular nomad visas that pair well with this type of role include Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa (D8), Spain's Digital Nomad Visa, Thailand's LTR Visa, and Colombia's Digital Nomad Visa — all designed for remote workers earning foreign income.

Cost-of-living context (no salary disclosed, but senior UI/UX roles in iGaming typically pay $70k–$120k+ USD annually):

  • Lisbon, Portugal: ~$2,000–$2,800/month comfortable living. Strong nomad infrastructure, EU timezone helpful for European iGaming companies.
  • Bangkok, Thailand: ~$1,200–$1,800/month. Excellent coworking scene, GMT+7 may require some early-morning calls for European teams.
  • Medellín, Colombia: ~$1,200–$1,600/month. GMT-5 aligns well if the team operates in Americas hours.

No travel-specific perks (equipment stipend, coworking budget) are mentioned in the posting — worth clarifying during the interview process.

  • Improve player journeys with a focus on usability, engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems, UI components, typography, iconography, and reusable design patterns.
  • Create responsive designs that deliver a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Marketing, CRM, and other teams from concept through implementation.
  • Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation and maintain high visual quality.

  • Continuously improve existing interfaces through iteration, testing, and optimization.
  • Stay current with iGaming design trends, competitor products, UX best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Design with accessibility, responsible gaming principles, and market-specific requirements in mind.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of UI/UX or Product Design experience, preferably within iGaming, gaming, fintech, entertainment, or another fast-paced digital product environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating polished UI design and thoughtful UX problem-solving.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, prototyping, and design systems.

  • Multi-brand or White-label Gaming Platforms

Nice to Have

  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.
  • Experience working with analytics and behavioral tools.
  • Experience designing gamification and reward mechanics.
  • Motion design or micro-interaction experience.
  • Experience working with international or multi-market products.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsible gaming UX.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for more than someone who can make screens look good. You should be able to understand player behavior, business objectives, and product requirements, then turn them into experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and commercially effective.

You care about the details, challenge weak UX, communicate your design decisions clearly, and enjoy building digital products that players genuinely enjoy using.
