Traveler-Friendly Insight

Great fit for location-independent contractors — this role is explicitly remote-first and "intentionally remote," covering the full Americas region. That means digital nomads based anywhere in North or South American timezones (roughly UTC-8 to UTC-3) are well-positioned to apply.

Timezone flexibility: The requirement is North American-aligned hours, which suits nomads in popular destinations like Medellín, Colombia (UTC-5), Mexico City (UTC-6), or Lisbon, Portugal (UTC+1 — overlap possible but tight). Bangkok (UTC+7) and Bali would be very difficult given the timezone mismatch.

  • Medellín / Bogotá: Cost of living is ~$1,200–$1,800/month for a comfortable lifestyle. A mid-range UX content contract rate of $60–$90/hr goes very far here.
  • Mexico City: ~$1,500–$2,200/month. Strong coworking infrastructure, direct UTC-6 alignment with US clients.
  • Buenos Aires: ~$1,000–$1,600/month. UTC-3, workable overlap with Eastern US mornings.

As a contract position, this offers maximum flexibility for nomads — no employer-sponsored visa required. Many LATAM countries (Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina) offer digital nomad or freelance visa options that could support longer stays. No relocation is required and no office attendance is mentioned.

No travel perks (coworking stipend, equipment budget) are explicitly mentioned in the posting — worth clarifying before signing.

Location: Remote – Americas (Open to applicants located in North American aligned time zones)
