Traveler-Friendly Insight

Location Flexibility: This is a freelance telehealth role with self-set business hours, making it highly compatible with a nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyle — as long as you have a reliable internet connection and a private, professional space for video sessions. The async-friendly nature of scheduling is a strong plus.

Timezone Considerations: Sessions are booked by clients, so you'll likely need availability during Southeast Asian business hours (ICT, UTC+7). This works best if you're based in or near the ASEAN timezone corridor — Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, or even India (IST, UTC+5:30) could all be workable bases.

Visa & Residency: Thailand offers a Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa and a popular Tourist Visa/Visa Exempt entry for many nationalities. The role may occasionally require onsite presence in Phuket, so proximity matters. Phuket itself is a major digital nomad hub with strong coworking infrastructure.

Cost of Living Comparison: Phuket is moderately priced for Southeast Asia — more expensive than Chiang Mai or Medellín, but far cheaper than Singapore or Lisbon. Even modest freelance earnings on this platform can stretch well in Thailand.

  • Phuket: ~$1,200–1,800/month comfortable living
  • Bangkok: ~$1,000–1,500/month
  • Medellín: ~$900–1,300/month

You will be a practitioner on our telehealth platform Intellect, where your role is to support our clients' mental health and personal growth based on individual needs and goals. This is delivered primarily through scheduled 60-minute video sessions on our platform.
