Channel Account Director at Keyfactor - Remote EU — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This Channel Account Director role is listed as remote across Sweden (Stockholm) and the Netherlands — a meaningful signal that Keyfactor supports location-flexible working arrangements for this position. However, the nature of channel sales — partner relationship management, executive meetings, and regional growth planning — means significant travel within the EMEA region is likely expected, even if daily work is remote.
Timezone considerations: The role is anchored in CET/CEST (UTC+1/+2). Nomads based in Western Europe (Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona) or Eastern Europe (Warsaw, Tallinn) would be well within compatible working hours. Destinations outside Europe — Southeast Asia, Latin America — would create significant timezone friction for partner calls and leadership syncs.
Visa options: EU/EEA citizens can work from any of the 27 EU member states with ease. Non-EU nationals should explore options like Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa, Germany's Freelance Visa, or Spain's Digital Nomad Visa, though a full-time employment contract in NL or SE may require standard work authorization.
- Lisbon: Cost of living ~€2,000–€2,800/month — highly compatible with a senior tech sales salary
- Amsterdam: Base location option; higher cost (~€3,500+/month) but within the role's stated geography
- Stockholm: High cost of living (~€3,200–€4,000/month), but a core hub for this role
The wellness allowance is a useful perk for nomads covering coworking space costs. No explicit coworking or home-office stipend is mentioned, so clarify this during interviews.
