Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is fully remote and based in Mexico, which opens up interesting possibilities for location-flexible workers — but with important caveats. The job explicitly requires frequent evening and weekend availability tied to seller schedules, making it far from a typical async-friendly role. You'll need to be consistently reachable across Mexico's time zones (CST/MST), which limits how freely you can travel to other regions.

Visa considerations: The posting requires Mexican work authorization, so this role is best suited to Mexican citizens or those with existing legal work rights in Mexico. Digital nomad visas from other countries (e.g., Portugal's D8, Costa Rica's DN visa) would not satisfy the "based in Mexico" requirement.

Cost-of-living context for $10–$12/hr USD:

  • Mexico City or Guadalajara: At ~$1,600–$2,000/month (assuming ~40 hrs/week), this is a very comfortable income in most Mexican cities, where a quality apartment runs $400–$700/month.
  • Oaxaca or Mérida: Even more purchasing power in lower-cost cities, making this wage quite livable.
  • Bangkok or Medellín comparison: Equivalent purchasing power to remote roles paying $3,000–$4,000/month in those destinations — but this role locks you to Mexico.

If you're a nomad already based in Mexico and authorized to work, the remote setup works well. Just be prepared for an irregular schedule that makes international travel difficult to sustain.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Based in Mexico with authorization to work locally.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related role.
  • Strong sales ability, including prospecting, relationship-building, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish; native English speaker.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with frequent evening and weekend work.
  • Fluent with latest AI tools.
