Remote Digital Marketing Analyst at TE Connectivity — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
Remote-Friendly, But US-Bound
This role is officially listed as remote, which is a plus for location flexibility — but the salary is denominated in USD and explicitly tied to physical location within the US. That means TE Connectivity expects you to be US-based, which limits true nomadic freedom. Non-US residents or those hoping to work from abroad long-term will face significant hurdles.
Schedule & Timezone Flexibility
The job description doesn't mandate specific hours, and travel is under 10%, suggesting a mostly async-friendly setup. However, the role requires close coordination with PMs, sales, agencies, and global stakeholders — expect some overlap with US Eastern or Central business hours for key meetings.
Salary vs. Nomad Cost of Living
- Lisbon, Portugal: At $116K–$174K USD/year, you'd live very comfortably — average monthly costs for a single person run ~$1,800–$2,500. Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa requires proof of income (~€3,280/month minimum), which this salary easily meets.
- Medellín, Colombia: Extremely affordable at ~$1,200–$1,800/month; this salary would afford a premium lifestyle, though Colombian visa rules still apply.
- Bangkok, Thailand: Low cost (~$1,000–$1,500/month) but Thailand's LTR visa requires $80K+ annual income — well within range here.
The practical challenge: US-based remote work policies at large corporations like TE Connectivity often restrict working from abroad for tax and compliance reasons. Confirm remote-abroad policies before applying if you plan to travel extensively.

Background & Qualifications
- BA/BS degree; advanced education and/or relevant coursework preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital marketing, digital growth, performance marketing, eCommerce, or digital platform roles — preferably in B2B technology, industrial, electronics, or distribution-related industries.

- Results-oriented, with a growth mindset and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proven success in fast-paced and matrixed organizations.
- Hands-on experience with paid search, paid and organic social, engineering/community sites, component search platforms, distributor websites, and other external digital promotion channels.
