AI Video Annotation Trainer - Remote Worldwide — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is essentially a nomad's dream gig in terms of location independence. As an independent contractor doing video annotation, there are no fixed office hours, no timezone requirements mentioned, and no on-site obligations — making it highly async-friendly.
Flexibility highlights:
- Work from literally anywhere with a stable internet connection — annotation tasks are self-paced and task-based.
- No timezone constraints appear to exist, so whether you're in Lisbon, Bangkok, or Medellín, you can complete tasks on your own schedule.
- The workload is project-based and certification-gated, meaning you work when projects are available rather than on a fixed shift.
Visa considerations: Since this is a contractor role open worldwide, it pairs well with digital nomad visas (Portugal's D8, Costa Rica's, Thailand's LTR visa) or standard tourist visas for shorter stays, as you're self-employed. No salary data is provided, so earnings potential is unclear — be sure to clarify pay rates before committing.
Caution: This is a certification-first model, meaning income is not guaranteed until you pass and are matched to a project. Treat this as a supplemental income source rather than a primary living expense fund while traveling. Confirm payment rates and project availability before relocating around this role.
