Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-First Since Day One: Huntress has operated as a fully remote company since 2015, which is a strong signal of a mature async-friendly culture rather than a reactive remote policy. That said, this is a quota-carrying sales role focused on the Nordics and UK markets, which means your working hours will likely need to align with GMT/CET business hours (roughly 8am–6pm UK time) for client calls, demos, and prospect outreach.

Location Constraint: The role is explicitly listed as Remote UK, meaning you'll need to be UK-based and presumably maintain a UK address for tax and employment compliance. This limits true nomadic freedom — you cannot freely base yourself in, say, Lisbon or Bangkok without potential employment complications.

Practical Perks for Travelers:

  • A monthly digital reimbursement (£92) could cover coworking day passes in most European cities.
  • US travel 1–2x per year for company events is a built-in travel perk.
  • The 10% travel requirement (events and customers) means some structured travel is already baked in.

Cost of Living Context: The £55k base (OTE £110k) is strong for UK remote work. If you legally can work from within the EU short-term (e.g., under 90-day tourist rules), £110k OTE would cover a very comfortable lifestyle in Lisbon (~£2,200/mo) or Medellín (~£1,000/mo) for extended visits, though you must confirm your employment contract permits this.

What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 5M+ endpoints and 14M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You'll Do:

You are a value-based Account Executive who knows how to turn curiosity into trusted partnerships. You educate prospective MSP partners, uncover what they need, and guide them from discovery and solution scoping through pricing and close. You bring genuine care to every opportunity by owning the details, advocating for customer needs, and following through on the commitments you make.

As a quota-carrying member of the sales team, you bring determination to the work when deals get complex or priorities shift. You collaborate closely with SDRs, Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Account Management to win net-new business and set new clients up for a strong start.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets by qualifying and closing net-new MSP opportunities while being a collaborative member of the team.
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Huntress offerings to suit their needs, serving as a trusted advisor and industry expert throughout the process.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and identify their strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies that drive new business, address competitive risks, influence client decisions, and support win-win solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Account Management to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
  • Enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in our CRM.
  • Use AI tools in day-to-day prospecting, research, meeting preparation, and workflow management to work faster while applying sound judgment.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a strategic sales position and 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience at a software or technology company.
  • A strong track record of driving revenue, creating new business, and delivering a customer-centered experience.
  • Comfort working within a CRM and maintaining accurate activity, opportunity, and forecast records.
  • Ability to work well independently, remain highly responsive to clients, and prioritize and stay organized as priorities change.
  • Strong presentation, active listening, and critical-thinking skills, along with the drive, initiative, energy, and sense of urgency needed to acquire and serve clients.
  • A growth mindset; you contribute actively in a team environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged. Cybersecurity or cybersecurity sales experience is helpful but not required. Ability to travel up to 10% to events and customers as needed.
  • Thoughtful use of AI to work faster and smarter in day-to-day sales work, with good judgment about quality, privacy, and accuracy.
