Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is tagged #LI-Remote, meaning the base of operations is home-based — but don't mistake that for a location-independent lifestyle. As a Territory Sales Representative covering the Northeast United States, you are required to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned territory for jobsite visits, client meetings, and business development activities.

This means your travel is geographically constrained to the Northeast US, not globe-trotting on your own schedule. The role is fundamentally tied to a physical territory and requires in-person presence with architects, contractors, and construction stakeholders. Fixed customer appointments and territory management mean little to no async flexibility — your schedule is driven by client availability, not personal preference.

For digital nomads or long-term travelers, this role is not a fit. However, for someone who loves road-based domestic travel (think: frequent driving or short flights within New England and Mid-Atlantic states), it offers real flexibility in how you structure your home base.

  • Base salary $95K–$115K — comfortably covers a high cost-of-living Northeast US lifestyle, but doesn't translate to dramatic savings abroad since physical US presence is required.
  • No mention of coworking stipends or international travel perks.
  • Corporate discounts may include travel savings for personal use.

If you want a truly location-independent remote role, look for inside sales or account management positions that don't require territory coverage.
