Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is explicitly tagged #remote and described as a "distributed environment" with a "high degree of autonomy" — strong signals for async-friendly work. The output-driven nature of product marketing (content creation, battlecards, messaging frameworks) lends itself well to flexible, location-independent work patterns.

However, the hint that this is a US-based position suggests the expectation of working within US time zones (ET/CT/PT). Occasional live syncs with sales teams, solution architects, and executives are likely, so a reliable overlap of 4–6 hours with US business hours is advisable. Digital nomads based in Western Europe (e.g., Lisbon, Berlin) could manage ET morning overlap; Southeast Asia (e.g., Bangkok, Bali) would be challenging without night shifts.

Visa considerations: US nationals abroad can work freely. Non-US citizens should note that the US hint may mean the employer needs a US-based worker for tax/legal reasons — confirm this before applying. If permitted internationally, popular nomad destinations to consider:

  • Lisbon, Portugal – Digital Nomad Visa available; moderate cost of living (~$2,500–3,500/mo). Excellent overlap with US ET mornings.
  • Medellín, Colombia – Low cost (~$1,500–2,200/mo); good ET timezone overlap; strong digital nomad community.
  • Chiang Mai, Thailand – Very affordable (~$1,200–2,000/mo) but challenging US timezone overlap for live meetings.

No explicit travel perks (coworking stipend, meetup budget) are mentioned, though the company's conference presence suggests potential for event travel reimbursement.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain core positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for Mirantis' AI infrastructure and cloud-native platform portfolio.

  • Translate highly technical product capabilities — GPU cluster orchestration, multi-cluster Kubernetes management, MLOps pipelines — into audience-specific narratives for practitioners, platform engineers, and C-suite buyers.

  • Own the competitive intelligence function: track competitors including Red Hat OpenShift AI, NVIDIA Base Command, Rancher/SUSE, VMware Tanzu, and emerging AI cloud providers; produce battlecards, comparisons, and win/loss analysis.

  • Produce a steady cadence of high-quality technical content: solution briefs, white papers, blog posts, use case studies, reference architectures, and demo scripts.

  • Partner with solution architects and product managers to develop technical content that educates buyers on AI infrastructure patterns, including LLM inference at scale, GPU scheduling, and developer platform self-service.

  • Support demand generation campaigns with compelling assets aligned to key personas: AI/ML engineers, platform ops teams, and infrastructure decision-makers.

  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and ROI frameworks.

  • Partner with solution architects and sales teams to distill field learnings into sharper messaging and better-targeted content.

  • Support product launches with go-to-market plans, launch kits, and internal training materials.

  • Monitor trends across the AI infrastructure, cloud-native, and open-source ecosystems to surface market insights that inform GTM strategy.

  • Support analyst and media briefings; contribute to Mirantis' positioning in key industry conversations and reports.

  • Represent Mirantis' platform perspective at industry events, webinars, and community forums as a subject matter resource.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and credibly communicate complex technical concepts related to:

    • Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native platforms

    • AI/ML infrastructure, including model serving, inference, GPU resource management, and MLOps tooling

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills — able to produce clear, engaging content for both technical and business audiences without heavy editing.

  • Experience developing sales enablement materials and working directly with sales and pre-sales teams.

  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape across cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and open-source ecosystems (e.g., Red Hat, NVIDIA, Canonical, Rancher/SUSE, HashiCorp).

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, distributed environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Soft Skills and Team Fit

  • Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in how AI infrastructure works under the hood.

  • Passion for open source, developer communities, and the cloud-native ecosystem.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward shipping content and iterating quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow, Ray, or similar infrastructure tooling.
