Senior Technical PM at Nextiva - Remote US Healthcare — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is officially listed as remote across the United States, which opens it to US-based digital nomads — but with a notable caveat: candidates within 40 miles of Scottsdale, AZ are expected onsite four days per week. If you're fully location-independent and based outside that radius, you retain genuine remote flexibility.
Timezone considerations: No explicit timezone requirement is stated, but this is a senior outbound/GTM-facing PM role involving sales cycles, stakeholder presentations, and cross-functional alignment. Expect de facto US business hours (especially MT/PT/ET overlap), making pure async work unrealistic. Plan for at least 6–8 hours of overlap with US time zones daily.
Visa situation: The role is restricted to the United States — no international remote is implied. This means you'd need valid US work authorization (citizen, GC, or work visa). Digital nomad visas from other countries would not apply here.
Salary vs. cost of living: At $110K–$170K annually, this salary stretches significantly outside high-cost US metros:
- Lisbon, Portugal: Not viable — role requires US presence/authorization
- Austin, TX or Scottsdale, AZ: Mid-range comfortable; $140K+ affords a strong lifestyle
- Smaller US cities (e.g., Tucson, AZ or Raleigh, NC): The upper range of $170K offers exceptional purchasing power
If you're a US-based nomad who travels domestically and maintains a home base outside Arizona, this role can work well. However, frequent travel to customer sites, industry events, and advisory boards is expected for this thought-leadership-heavy position.

Location: While this role is open to remote candidates across the United States, team members located within 40 miles of our Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256) are expected to work onsite four days per week to support collaboration, speed, and execution. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.
