Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is fully remote within the United States only — no international location flexibility is offered, and visa sponsorship is explicitly unavailable. For digital nomads, this is a significant constraint: you must reside and work within the U.S. during the Main Work Shift of 9AM–6PM EST.

The schedule is fixed and synchronous, with required phone availability, Genesys schedule adherence, and real-time Slack responsiveness. This is not an async-friendly role — there is very little flexibility to shift hours to accommodate different time zones or travel schedules.

For U.S.-based remote workers, the role does offer a monthly tech stipend to offset home-office or coworking expenses, which is a practical perk. However, working from coworking spaces abroad would be incompatible with the EST shift requirement and U.S.-only restriction.

Salary context for U.S. remote workers ($48K–$55K/year):

  • Midwest/South U.S.: Comfortable living wage in lower cost-of-living cities like Kansas City or Tulsa.
  • Coastal cities (NYC, SF, LA): This salary would be tight — consider lower-cost U.S. regions to maximize purchasing power.

Bottom line: this role is best suited for U.S.-based remote workers who want a stable, home-based position — not for nomads seeking location independence or international flexibility.
