Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote & Async Potential: This role explicitly offers remote and flexible working, making it viable for digital nomads based in Europe or Ukraine. The tech stack — TypeScript, Canvas/WebGL, Git — is fully laptop-friendly, with no hardware lab requirements. However, the live-coding technical interview and the C-level final round suggest the team operates on synchronized schedules, likely within a European timezone window (CET/EET ± 2 hours).

Timezone Considerations: Given the company's Ukrainian roots and European hiring scope, expect core hours roughly between 09:00–18:00 EET (UTC+2/+3). Nomads in Lisbon (WET) would be 2–3 hours behind, manageable with morning alignment. Those in Bangkok (ICT, UTC+7) or Bali would face afternoon-only overlap — potentially workable but may conflict with sync meetings. Medellín (COT, UTC-5) would be very challenging for consistent overlap.

Visa & Location Options:

  • Portugal: D8 Digital Nomad Visa suits long-term stays; Lisbon cost of living is moderate for EU.
  • Georgia: Remotely Green program, no visa needed for most EU/UA nationals for 1 year.
  • Serbia: Easy entry, low cost of living, no dedicated nomad visa needed for short stays.

Perks for Nomads: The Professional Development Budget could cover coworking memberships or tools. Unlimited PTO supports extended travel between projects. No equipment stipend is explicitly mentioned.
