Traveler-Friendly Insight

Location Flexibility: Tremendous explicitly allows work from anywhere in the Americas — a broad region covering North, Central, and South America. This makes it accessible for nomads based in popular hubs like Medellín, Mexico City, or Lisbon (note: Europe is outside the allowed zone, so EU-based nomads are excluded).

Async-Friendly Culture: Tremendous is a self-described "high-documentation, low-meeting" company. This is a strong signal for async-friendly workflows — ideal for nomads who value schedule autonomy and hate calendar-blocking standups. Fixed timezone overlap requirements are not stated, though Americas timezone alignment is implied.

Salary vs. Cost of Living: At $175k–$225k USD annually, this salary stretches significantly in nomad-friendly Americas destinations:

  • Medellín, Colombia: Cost of living ~$1,500–$2,000/month for a comfortable lifestyle — this salary leaves enormous savings potential.
  • Mexico City, Mexico: ~$2,000–$2,500/month for a well-appointed life in Condesa or Roma Norte.
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina: Extremely affordable with USD earnings due to favorable exchange dynamics.

Visa Considerations: Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina all offer nomad-friendly tourist or temporary resident visa options for Americas-based workers. Colombia's digital nomad visa and Mexico's temporary resident visa are both worth exploring for longer stays.

Perks to Note: The company hosts international offsites, which means occasional paid travel is built into the culture — a genuine perk for travel-minded professionals.

Tremendous is the fast, free, flexible way to send bulk payouts to people in over 230 countries and regions. 20,000+ companies ranging from mom-and-pops to Google, MIT, and United Way have sent over $1 billion, saving 15 hours a month on average.

In both our product and our workplace, we're intentional about making work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling. Tremendous is a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life.

Our customers, who include marketers, researchers, HR teams, and nonprofits, rave about how quick and easy it is to use Tremendous — check the ratings on G2. Yet there's a lot of complexity under the hood, including over 2,500 redemption options and plenty of banking infrastructure. This duality makes working here a fun challenge.

Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. Join us before our next international offsite.
