Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is 100% remote with an explicit results-over-clock-hours policy — a strong signal for async-friendly work. Truelogic's nearshore model means you'll primarily collaborate with U.S.-based clients, so expect some overlap with Eastern or Central U.S. time zones (EST/CST). Practically, this means core availability of roughly 9am–2pm EST is likely expected, which suits nomads based in Latin America, Western Europe, or even West Africa without major disruption.

Visa considerations: The role is open to LATAM-based professionals. Countries like Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina all offer relatively low bureaucratic barriers for remote workers. Colombia's digital nomad visa (Visa de Nómada Digital) is a solid option for non-Colombian citizens already in-region. Mexico's Temporary Resident visa works well for longer stays.

Cost-of-living perspective (USD salary, unconfirmed amount but described as "market-leading"):

  • Medellín, Colombia: ~$1,200–$1,800/month comfortable living — senior dev pay stretches very far here.
  • Mexico City, Mexico: ~$1,800–$2,500/month — excellent food, infrastructure, and proximity to U.S. timezone.
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina: ~$1,000–$1,500/month — outstanding value given current exchange rates.

No specific coworking or equipment stipend is mentioned, so factor in your own workspace costs.

  • Active, daily experience incorporating AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) into your development pipeline.
  • Familiarity with Angular (or other modern front-end frameworks), Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines within an Agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a track record of collaborating across distributed teams or squads.

Pluses

  • Production experience building AI-powered product features (e.g., intelligent search, smart forms, NLP workflows).
