Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is partially remote-friendly, but with meaningful location constraints that nomads should weigh carefully. Jamf explicitly states that candidates near a Jamf office may be expected to work in-office periodically, and the territory is anchored in North America with quarterly onsite visits based out of Minneapolis. This is not a fully async, location-independent role.

If you live far from a Jamf office, full remote is possible — but you'll still need to be US-based (the OTE range is quoted in USD and the territory is North American). The quarterly onsite requirement means you'll need reliable access to Minneapolis and your sales territory, limiting how freely you can base yourself abroad.

Timezone considerations: Enterprise sales requires real-time client interactions during North American business hours (CT/ET primarily), making it incompatible with nomad bases in Southeast Asia or Europe without significant schedule sacrifices.

  • Lisbon, Portugal: 6-7 hours ahead of ET — workable with an evening-shift schedule, but client calls and demos would run late into the night.
  • Medellín, Colombia: Same timezone as ET/CT in most of the year — nearly ideal, and Colombia offers a digital nomad visa for stays up to 2 years.
  • Bangkok, Thailand: 11-12 hours ahead — largely incompatible with US enterprise sales hours.

At OTE up to $179,400, even a US-based remote setup offers strong purchasing power. The role is best suited for someone based in the continental US who values domestic flexibility over international nomadism.

At Jamf, we believe in an open, flexible culture based on respect and trust. Our track record and thriving work environment all stem from the freedom we grant ourselves to get the job done right. We take pride in helping tens of thousands of customers around the globe succeed with Apple.
