Remote Junior QA Coordinator - Welocalize Brazil — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is remote and Brazil-based, meaning you must be physically located in Brazil to qualify — digital nomads based outside of Brazil are not eligible. Welocalize explicitly requires Brazilian residency, and the nature of the Search Quality Rating program (with household exclusivity rules and NDA obligations) makes it impractical to perform from abroad.
Schedule flexibility: The role offers a choice between 20 hours/week (part-time) or 40 hours/week (full-time) as a freelance contract, which suggests some degree of schedule autonomy. However, no explicit async-friendly or timezone-flexible language is used, and coordinator duties (meetings with stakeholders, monitoring rater queries) imply some structured availability during Brazilian business hours (BRT, UTC-3).
For Brazil-based nomads: If you're already living in Brazil and prefer to work from different cities domestically, this role could accommodate that lifestyle. Popular remote-friendly Brazilian cities like Florianópolis, Recife, and São Paulo all offer strong internet infrastructure.
- Florianópolis: A popular digital nomad hub in Brazil with coworking spaces and a lower cost of living than São Paulo.
- Recife: Growing tech scene, affordable living, and reliable connectivity.
No salary is disclosed, making cost-of-living comparisons difficult. No travel perks, equipment stipends, or coworking allowances are mentioned. This is best suited to Brazil residents seeking flexible freelance income, not location-independent international nomads.
