Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is officially remote but restricted to candidates residing in Florida, North Carolina, or Texas — so it is not open to location-independent nomads living abroad or in other US states. If you're a US-based remote worker already in one of these three states, the lifestyle flexibility is meaningful.

Schedule & Timezone: The job description doesn't specify core hours, but Sales Engineering typically requires synchronous availability aligned with US East/Central business hours to support client calls, demos, and RFP sessions. Expect standard weekday availability rather than a fully async schedule.

Nomad-Friendliness Assessment:

  • This is a state-restricted remote role — you must be a legal US resident in FL, NC, or TX. Digital nomad visa holders or those living abroad are not eligible.
  • The internet stipend (monthly allowance) is a small but practical perk for remote workers managing their own connectivity costs.
  • No mention of coworking allowances or travel/meetup budgets, which limits the traditional nomad lifestyle within this role.

Practical takeaway: If you're a US-based remote worker settled in Florida, North Carolina, or Texas, this role offers a solid work-from-home setup with good benefits. For true location-independence beyond US borders or across all 50 states, look for roles without state residency restrictions and explicitly async cultures.
