Allowed Regions: Lemon.io accepts developers from 75+ countries including most of Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and select African nations. This broad eligibility means you can legally reside almost anywhere on a tourist visa or digital nomad visa while contracting through the platform.

Requirements — Data Engineer (Role A: Azure/Databricks/DBT Focus):
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer
- 2+ years of commercial experience with Azure DevOps (required)
- 2+ years of commercial experience with Databricks
- 2+ years of experience with DBT (required)
- Experience with Airflow is a plus
Requirements — Data Engineer (Role B: Airflow/Snowflake/Python Focus):
- 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer
- 3+ years of experience with Apache Airflow and 2+ years with Snowflake
- 3+ years of experience with Python and 1+ year with SQL
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or Snowflake (required)
General Requirements for All Roles:
- Strong technical skills: ability to create projects from scratch with a deep understanding of application architecture.
- Clear and effective English communication — advanced ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues. Good self-presentation for client calls is essential.
- Strong self-organizational skills — ability to work full-time remotely without supervision.
- Reliability — we expect you won't let us or the client down.
- Adaptability and Flexibility — ability to onboard a project promptly and start delivering results quickly.
