Public Area Attendant - Four Seasons Bahamas Resort — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is an on-site, in-person position at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas. It is not remote-friendly in any capacity — the work involves physical cleaning and maintenance of a luxury resort's public areas, requiring daily attendance on property.
For those drawn to living and working in the Bahamas, this position does open an interesting lifestyle angle. Nassau / Paradise Island is a popular destination in its own right, offering warm weather year-round, Caribbean beach access, and a vibrant expat community. However, the job explicitly requires the legal right to work in the Bahamas without sponsorship, meaning digital nomad visas or tourist visa arrangements will not suffice here.
Practical considerations for those considering relocating:
- The Bahamas does offer a "BEATS" (Bahamas Extended Access Travel Stay) visa for remote workers — but this role is not remote work, so that visa is not applicable here.
- Cost of living in Nassau is relatively high for the Caribbean, comparable to mid-tier US cities.
- No salary is disclosed, so comparing to nomad-friendly cities like Lisbon or Bangkok is not possible.
If you're a location-independent worker looking for flexible remote roles in hospitality or travel, this particular position is not suited to that lifestyle. Look instead for remote hospitality operations or virtual guest services roles.
