Remote Booking Assistant Job - Flexible Travel Role — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
Location Flexibility: This role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, making it attractive for digital nomads. The posting explicitly states you can manage your own schedule, which is a strong signal toward async-friendly work — though "responding promptly" to clients suggests some availability windows are expected.
Timezone Considerations: The hint places this company in Dallas, Texas (US Central Time). Client-facing responsiveness likely means staying within a few hours of CT/ET overlap, so nomads in Europe (UTC+1 to UTC+3) may face early mornings. Southeast Asia (UTC+7 to UTC+9) would make synchronous client calls quite challenging.
Best-fit Nomad Destinations:
- Medellín, Colombia (UTC-5): Near-perfect timezone alignment with US Central. Cost of living ~$1,200–$1,800/month. A $45K–$65K salary goes very far here.
- Lisbon, Portugal (UTC+0/+1): Manageable overlap with US hours in the morning. Monthly costs ~$2,000–$2,800. Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa (D8) is a strong fit for remote employees earning this salary range.
- Mexico City, Mexico (UTC-6): Same or near-identical timezone to Dallas. Very affordable at ~$1,200–$1,800/month. Tourist visas allow 180-day stays easily.
Perks Note: No explicit travel stipend or coworking allowance is mentioned. Budget for your own workspace setup, as training and tools are provided but location-support perks are not stated.
