Junior SDR at Huzzle - Remote EST AI Tech Sales — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
Timezone Lock: EST 9–5 Required
This role is fully remote but comes with a significant constraint for digital nomads: you must be available strictly 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). That translates to 2:00–10:00 PM in Lisbon, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM in Bangkok, and 10:00–6:00 AM in Medellín's usual timezone — making Southeast Asia and the Far East essentially incompatible with this schedule without severe sleep disruption.
Best nomad destinations for EST-aligned workers:
- Medellín, Colombia — Same timezone as EST (UTC-5), very low cost of living (~$1,200–1,800/month comfortably), excellent coworking scene.
- Lisbon, Portugal — 5 hours ahead of EST; you'd work afternoons into the evening, which is manageable and Portugal offers a Digital Nomad Visa for non-EU nationals.
- Mexico City, Mexico — 1 hour behind EST, low cost of living (~$1,000–1,500/month), strong internet infrastructure.
Since no salary is disclosed, it's harder to evaluate purchasing power at these destinations. Given the offshore/junior SDR framing, compensation may be below US market rates — research comparable SDR salaries before negotiating.
No travel perks (coworking stipend, equipment budget) are mentioned. Ensure you have a reliable, quiet internet connection for 120+ calls per day — a coworking space would be strongly recommended.
