Senior CRM Developer at RSA - Remote Worldwide — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is listed as "Anywhere in the World", making it one of the more location-flexible senior tech positions available. RSA is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, but the posting explicitly targets global remote candidates — a strong signal for digital nomad suitability.
Timezone flexibility: The job description doesn't specify required working hours or a mandatory timezone overlap. Agile/Scrum environments typically require some synchronous participation (standups, sprint ceremonies), so expect partial timezone overlap with a team likely operating in EMEA or Egypt (UTC+2/UTC+3). Eastern Europe, East Africa, and Southeast Asia nomad hubs align reasonably well.
Visa considerations: Since no country restrictions are stated, you can potentially work from anywhere legally permitting remote work. Popular nomad options include:
- Portugal (Lisbon): Digital Nomad Visa available; cost of living ~$2,000–2,800/month
- Thailand (Chiang Mai/Bangkok): LTR Visa for remote workers; cost ~$1,200–2,000/month
- Colombia (Medellín): Digital Nomad Visa; cost ~$1,000–1,800/month
No salary is disclosed, so cost-of-living comparisons relative to compensation are difficult. However, a senior Salesforce developer role globally typically commands $80k–$130k USD annually — comfortable for all three destinations. No specific travel perks (coworking stipend, equipment budget) are mentioned in the posting.
