Traveler-Friendly Insight

This is a cabin crew / flight attendant role based in Hong Kong — it is an aviation operations job and is entirely location-dependent. You must be physically present at Hong Kong International Airport and fly according to published rosters. This is not a remote or digital-nomad-compatible position.

That said, if you love travel as a lifestyle, this role is one of the most travel-rich jobs available: you travel by definition, and the free staff travel benefit for you, friends, and family across HK Express routes in Asia is a significant perk for someone who wants to explore the region.

Key location constraints:

  • Right of abode in Hong Kong is a hard requirement — tourist or digital nomad visas will not suffice.
  • You must be based in Hong Kong; no relocation flexibility is implied.
  • Work schedule is roster-based, not async or self-directed.

If you are a nomad looking for a base in Asia with built-in travel, Hong Kong remains a global hub — though cost of living is high. The free flight perk could offset weekend or layover travel costs significantly across Southeast Asia, Japan, and Korea. Look for digital-nomad-friendly roles if location independence is your primary goal; this role suits those who want travel built into the job itself.

HK Express is Hong Kong's first and only low-cost carrier, always offering great value, affordable fares on one of the youngest and most modern aircraft fleets in the world.

Like you, and just like many people across Asia, we love to travel and discover new places across the world's most diverse and dynamic region. At HK Express, we're opening up new travel experiences that inspire and invigorate millions of people across the region we're proud to call home. Everything we do is focused on encouraging the spirit of adventure. Our routes provide the inspiration and spontaneity to try somewhere new, disrupting monotonous modern life. As we continue to open up new routes, often in secondary and emerging destinations, our passengers will gain access to an incredible range of places, exploring hidden gems and experiencing local cultures.
