Product Manager at Remote - Fully Remote, Work Anywhere — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is purpose-built for digital nomads. Remote.com is itself the company that powers remote employment globally — and they practice what they preach. The entire organization runs on an async-first culture, meaning there are no mandatory fixed meeting hours, no timezone-locked standups, and no office you're expected to commute to. You can genuinely plan your workday around your travels.
Timezone flexibility: With team members across 6 continents, Remote accommodates broad timezone ranges. The EMEA location hint suggests some overlap with European or African business hours may be beneficial, but the async model keeps this soft rather than rigid.
Visa considerations: Because this is a fully remote, globally open role, popular nomad visa destinations align well. Consider:
- Portugal (D8 Digital Nomad Visa) — widely available for non-EU earners; Lisbon cost of living ~$2,000–2,800/mo leaves strong savings on this salary
- Thailand (LTR Visa or tourist visa runs) — Bangkok cost of living ~$1,200–1,800/mo makes mid-range salary tiers go very far
- Colombia (Digital Nomad Visa) — Medellín runs ~$1,000–1,500/mo; excellent internet infrastructure and growing nomad community
Travel-friendly perks include a coworking space budget (offset hot-desk costs abroad), home office & IT equipment budget, and flexible PTO. The stock options add long-term upside beyond the base salary range.
