Traveler-Friendly Insight

Remote-First Across Europe — This role is explicitly remote-first within Europe, making it viable for digital nomads who hold EU/EEA residency or long-stay visas. You can work from any European country, with hubs in Warsaw and Barcelona available when you need a desk or face time with the team.

Timezone Flexibility — As a Director-level product leader managing teams across four countries (including Poland, Spain, Italy, and Brazil), expect your working hours to broadly align with CET/CEST (UTC+1/+2). Fully async-only is unlikely at this seniority — stakeholder calls, team rituals, and leadership syncs will require regular availability during European business hours. Early mornings or late evenings from, say, Southeast Asia would be challenging long-term.

Best Nomad Bases for This Role:

  • Lisbon, Portugal — Within CET±1, thriving tech scene, Portugal's D8 digital nomad visa available for non-EU citizens. Cost-effective relative to Barcelona.
  • Warsaw, Poland — A hub location; lower cost of living in Central Europe, strong startup ecosystem.
  • Barcelona, Spain — The other hub; Spain's digital nomad visa ("Startups Law") is available for non-EU applicants. Higher COL but excellent lifestyle.

Travel Perks — Regular team off-sites are mentioned, meaning travel budget is likely included. No explicit coworking stipend stated, so clarify this during negotiation.

About Docplanner

We are the world's largest healthcare platform. Every month, 100 million patients visit our marketplaces — ZnanyLekarz, Doctoralia, MioDottore, Doktortakvimi, jameda — to find the right doctor and book a visit in real time. We process 20 million bookings a month, serve ~300,000 paying doctors and clinics across 13 countries (and we're #1 in 12 of them), being profitable while growing ~25% a year.

And we're just getting started. Our mission is to help people live longer, healthier lives — and our 10-year ambition is to support 1 billion patient visits a year by putting AI at the heart of every medical workflow. From Noa, our AI brand for doctors, to a frictionless, empathetic and AI-powered patient experience, we are transforming from a marketplace into the operating system of healthcare.

What You're Building

Practice Management Software — scheduling, electronic health records, billing, insurance — is how clinics actually function. Get it right, and Docplanner doesn't just help patients find doctors. We become indispensable to every clinic that uses us.

Your mandate is to build the best PMS in every market we operate in: one coherent vision, localized to win. As our engineering team drives the technical modularization of our core stack, you'll define the product strategy that turns that foundation into something doctors love and clinics can't imagine working without.

This is a rare kind of role. You're not inheriting a finished product — you're shaping what it becomes.

What You'll Own

  • Product strategy across all PMS — MyDr, Gipo, Clinic Cloud, Feegow, and our own light-version PMS. One north star, adapted for each country.

  • Making PMS AI-first — embedding Noa natively: AI scribe, AI booking, patient summaries, intelligent scheduling. Every clinic gets superpowers out of the box.

  • The unification journey — partnering closely with the Engineering Director so that modularity doesn't just simplify the stack; it unlocks new product possibilities.

  • A growth engine — designing a lightweight entry product for individuals and small clinics, with a clear, natural path to the full PMS, Noa, and marketplace.

  • The outcomes that matter — doctor and clinic retention, expansion revenue, integrated-doctor growth, new-market launches.

  • A team of product leaders across four countries, plus close collaboration with the PMS business owner, country managers, and the Noa team.

Who You Are

We hire for attributes first. These five define how we work — and how you'll lead:

  • Exceptional problem-solving mindset. Complexity is something you thrive on daily — five products, 12+ countries, dozens of integrations — and turn it into a single, cohesive product vision adapted to each country.

  • AI-first approach. You believe the clinic of the future runs on AI — and you'll make our PMS the place where doctors feel that smoothly. Always solving their problems and discovering what they could do, or what we could do for them and their patients.

  • Product impact focus. You focus on outcomes — retention, expansion, integrated bookings — and you prioritize effectively to ensure we focus on what truly moves them.

  • Builder leadership. You've built products and teams; you know a winning product isn't handed over by engineering — it's co-created, and you make the product–design–engineering partnership the strongest relationship in the building.

  • Founder-level ownership and drive. You take the complex, ambiguous, multi-year mission and own it with full accountability and collaborative focus.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years leading product at Lead / Director level (must-have) — you've owned multi-team product organizations, not just a single squad.

  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS.

  • Experience driving multi-product consolidation.

  • Comfort with regulated environments (healthcare data, GDPR, medical-device software) is a strong plus.

  • Fluent English; Spanish, Polish, Italian or Portuguese are a plus in our multi-local world.

What We Offer

  • Remote-first within Europe — work from anywhere, with hubs in Warsaw, Barcelona and beyond, and regular team off-sites.

  • A seat at the table: you report directly to our CPTO and shape company strategy, not just a roadmap.

  • Competitive compensation package including a stock option plan — we want you to think and earn like an owner.

  • Real scale, real impact: your decisions reach 100 million patients and hundreds of thousands of doctors every month.

  • A profitable, founder-led company on a clear path from €250M to €1B ARR — the rare combination of rocket-ship growth and solid ground.
