Remote BD Intern at DataCatalyst - Work From Anywhere — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This fully remote internship at DataCatalyst is one of the more travel-friendly early-career roles you'll find. The company explicitly embraces a low-travel model with async-friendly collaboration across time zones, meaning there's genuine flexibility in where you work from day to day.
However, a few practical caveats apply for nomads and travelers:
- US-based hiring: The role is currently scoped to the USA, so standard employment eligibility applies. International nomads would need existing US work authorization.
- Timezone flexibility: The description references working "across time zones," suggesting some async tolerance — but as an intern on outreach campaigns, expect some overlap with North American business hours (EST/CST) for client-facing coordination.
- No salary listed: This is an unpaid or stipend-level internship likely, so budget planning is essential. In lower-cost nomad hubs like Medellín or Chiang Mai, even modest stipends can stretch further, but Lisbon or Bali would require supplemental income.
If you're a student or early-career professional looking to combine skill-building with location flexibility, this role works well from any reliable internet connection. There are no listed equipment stipends or coworking allowances, so factor those costs into your setup budget.
